"Im in the business of killing Nazis, and business is boomin!".
I regretfully smiled while I watched The Inglorious Bastards kill and scalp many Nazis but they do it so well you cant help but smile. this film is completely different than what i thought it was going to be, its not some rough, murderous, Nazi mutilating action flick I sat down to watch. Clever, Cunning, Stylistic, and original would be the best way to put it. Tarantino takes you back to the the way movies where shot in the golden age of Hollywood, long drawn out beautiful landscape shots, grand halls, fancy dialogue that rolls of the tongues of gorgeous women, but its Tarantino, so naturally he does it with a dark twist and oddly enough in this film with tact. to take a step back I'm in no way shape or form a Tarantino fan, i don't care for his style and find him most offensive in is films. Inglorious does not strike me as his film, not nearly as bloody as his other works (but still lots of blood) and has a bit more substance to it. Christoph Waltz (deserves awards!) steals the show right out from under Pitt's feet. the moment he comes on to screen you know he is going to oblige every feeling you could feel. in moments he has you laughing to utter hate for his character and what the Nazi's did but you cant help but love him. Brad Pitt one of my favorite actors, does not have a much screen time but when he is there you cannot wait to hear that fumbling idiotic american accent which is quite ironic considering his character is actually very smart. You watch this film and every thing you have ever wanted to do or say to someone who has mistreated another is satisfied. I wont say much more because words one a blog cannot do justice. See this film. in my top ten of 2009.
"You just say, Bingo"
